Research > Magick Aptitude Test Using Dices

As you might have read in my post about a magick aptitude test. I've decided to pick this up as the other research for the All, for One thing, takes much longer than this.

Summary

The idea of this research is to check a simple idea. According to a book from Frater V. D., magick manipulates the chances of certain situations to occur. Since dices have an equal chance for each side to fall on a roll this would mean that if we apply magic to dice to make a certain side fall more often this should be noticeable after enough dice throws. I would say let's go for the six as it's the highest amount of points in many games.

Expectancy

Usually, you would expect each side to drop as often as each other, however, applying magick should increase one of the six sides to fall more often than the others. The error margin is going to play a huge role in this research though.

On-Going Results

The difference between blog posts and pages is that this can always be found easily in the same position on the page. So here are the results I've gotten so far:

Total dice rolls: 3181

Dice Throws %-Chance %-Change Expected Change
1 525 16.50% +0.62% Decrease
2 576 18.11% -0.48% Decrease
3 505 15.88% +0.20% Increase
4 505 15.88% +0.04% Increase
5 547 17.20% -0.05% Decrease
6 523 16.44% -0.33% Increase
