Research > Guild Wars 2: Dolyak

I've started this research a few months back and have these data collected already. I'm gonna continue this whenever working on it a little bit every now and then. The goal is to analyze different things:
  • How much does a camp matter?
  • How much does a dolyak matter?
  • What's the frequency for different sides when there's an equal distribution?
On the baseline, this research checks how much of an advantage there is for one color compared to the others. Keep in mind that World vs World is definitely unbalanced in a mathematical way. This has to do with balancing fun. If everyone plays the same class in a completely symmetrical game and everyone had no option to change anything it would be extremely boring but perfectly balanced. We want to balance it to be fair while still being fun. I hard task. Regardless it will be very interesting what this long-term research will reveal.
